3GP, (3GPP file format) is a multimedia container format
defined by the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP)
for 3G UMTS multimedia services. It is used on 3G mobile
phones but can also be played on some 2G and 4G phones.

DVD, also known as Digital Versatile Disc or Digital Video
Disc, is an optical disc storage media format, and was founded
in 1995. Its main uses are video and data storage. DVDs are
of the same dimensions as compact discs (CDs), but store more
than six times as much data.
FLV, has quickly established itself as the format of choice
for embedded video on the web. Notable users of the Flash
Video format include YouTube, Google Video, Yahoo! Video,
metacafe, Reuters.com, and many other news providers.

MPEG-4, is a patented collection of methods defining compression
of audio and visual (AV) digital data.
MySpace, by now everyone knows what the myspace format is.
PSP format is an extension of MPEG-4 which allows viewing
of video and audio on a PSP.
SVCD, is based on mpeg2, which is the same as DVDs, and allows
varied bit-rates of up to 2500kbits at a resolution of 480x480,
which is an improvement over the VCD format.
VCD, is based on mpeg1, with a constant bitrate of 1150bit,
at a resolution of 352x240. The main use of VCDs is to make
the file smaller, and to fit as much on one disk as possible.
YouTube format is taken from any digital camera that captures
the folowing fomats; Digital8, MiniDV, HDV, or any of the
DVD formats
