How do I configure my iPhone v1.1.3 for mail?
To set up POP in iPhone software version 1.1.3, follow these
instructions (where yourdomain.com is your domain hosted
at WgraFix):
1. On your iPhone, tap Settings from the Home screen
2. Scroll down the list and choose Mail > Accounts >
Add Account
3. From the listing of email account types:
Y! Mail (for Yahoo!),
Gmail
Mac
AOL
Other (choose other if you’re using SmarterMail)
Click Other,
4. Enter in your account information here such as your
Name, Full Email Address, Password and a description as
a reminder for yourself.
From the server types: IMAP or POP choose POP
Enter your email address: yourname@yourdomain.com
The email server type: POP
Enter your incoming mail server : pop.yourdomain.com
Enter your outgoing mail server : smtp.yourdomain.com
Please be sure to use your full email address as your username.
5. Once the above steps are completed your POP/SMTP connection
through your iPhone should be enabled. If you experience
a problem connecting please follow these steps to ensure
you are using the correct port number and SSL settings:
6. Settings > Mail > email@account.com > Advanced:
Ensure that SSL is OFF, Authentication is set to Password
and the Server Port is set to 110 for POP and 587 for SMTP
Please take note of the following important information:
Some ISP's do not allow their customers to send e-mail
out using a third party smtp server. There are likely other
ISP's that we have not encountered yet so we suggest you
check with your ISP. They may have upgraded their security
policies recently.
If your ISP doesn't allow you to send e-mail out using
a third party smtp server, we recommend that you contact
them directly to verify their SMTP server settings.

Charter Communications: smtp.charter.net (To verify, visit
http://www.charter.com)
MSN: smtp.email.msn.com (To verify, please contact your
MSN provider)
RCN: smtp.rcn.com (To verify, please visit http://www.rcn.com
)
Bellsouth.net: mail.bellsouth.net (To verify, please visit
http://www.bellsouth.net )
Cox.net: smtp.east.cox.net (CT, FL, GA, LA, NC, OH, RI,
VA); smtp.central.cox.net (KS, NE, OK, UT, West TX); smtp.west.cox.net
(AZ, CA, NV); smtp.cox-internet.com (for @cox-internet.com
customers in AR, ID, LA, MI, East TX, Tyler). Port 587 may
also be required for SMTP.
Rogers: smtp.broadband.rogers.com (To verify, please visit
http://www.rogers.com). If port 25 does not work with Rogers,
please try port 587 instead.
AOL: May require port 587 for smtp. To verify, visit http://www.aol.com.
